Cundall was honoured to sponsor the Women in STEM Award at Leigh UTC Dartford’s recent awards evening.
The award, based on excellence in the student’s previous year, was won by the brilliant and deserving recipient, Gloria Dudka. Now in Year 13, Gloria is studying BTEC Engineering, A-Level Design Technology, Level 3 Maths, and Extended Project Qualification.
Minaal Baba Ahmed, Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Building Services team, presented the award on the night and said, “I was delighted to present the Women in STEM award sponsored by Cundall. I think it’s important to encourage young women into the STEM world, not only for the sake of equity, but for the valuable insights, innovations and developments made by women that improve the lives of people tremendously. Congratulations to Gloria!”
