On 17 June, Robert Modler, Principal Sustainability Consultant, will be joining Workshop No. 1/B, ‘Why is social value so confusing?’, as part of the BCO Conference 2026 in Edinburgh. Robert has worked on numerous projects involving social value and therefore has a strong knowledge and understanding of how it can be implemented in projects, as well as the wider benefits it can deliver.

Workshop sessions at the conference bring together experts from various disciplines to discuss how social value is interpreted in different contexts, and how to make it more meaningful and actionable. All participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion, share their perspectives, and help drive a more joined-up industry approach to understanding social value.

If you’re attending the BCO Conference 2026, make sure to join Robert’s session on 17 June.
