Following the successful launch of the pilot version in September 2025, the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard has officially been officially published. This marks an important step forward for the built environment as it provides the first unified, science-based definition and methodology for measuring net zero carbon in UK buildings. Paul Chatwin, Associate Director, will be hosting our breakfast briefing, where he will share expert insight into version 1 of the standard.

Over the past decade, we have all seen a variety of greenwashing claims relating to net zero, but that is changing. Join us to learn how the standard has evolved from its pilot versions, discover the new on‑track route to certification, and understand how it supports both landlord and tenant certification pathways. The independent verification process will also be explained.
