Hong Kong Institute of Engineers Building Services Division, ASHRAE Hong Kong and CIBSE Hong Kong Region brought together international building services engineering, building design and asset performance experts to present the latest advances in achieving net zero buildings.

The event dived deeply into both embodied carbon and operational emissions from design through to retrofitting and operations of both individual buildings and at the precinct/city scale. Cundall Director Joe Tang and Associate Chris Leung presented on sea water cooled chiller plant and other district cooling systems viability, selection criteria, and master planning as part of the Design and Research Agenda.
