Civil engineering

Civil engineering is one of Cundall’s core services and covers all sectors of the construction industry. It involves creating, improving and protecting the environment in which we live and providing the facilities for day-to-day life and for transport and industry to function effectively.

Working across all of the industry sectors, we have the knowledge and expertise to advise on the civil engineering requirements of development and infrastructure projects, from the feasibility stage through to completion.

We aim to help you identify both the constraints placed on development by regulatory requirements and site conditions and the opportunities that can be created by practical and innovative design. We will work closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure the project deliverables and goals are achieved or exceeded while providing sustainable solutions.

We always aim to design sustainably by measures including optimising site levels to reduce disposal to landfill, strengthening weak ground to minimise the import of stone and the utilisation of stormwater.
