BMA House

  • The British Medical Association (BMA) commissioned Cundall as part of a multi-disciplinary project team to design and manage the refurbishment of the grade II listed Lutyens designed building of BMA House in Tavistock Square.

Canterbury College

Canterbury, United Kingdom

  • Canterbury College provides academic and vocational skill courses for the local community. The overall footprint of the college is now 45,000m². Cundall was appointed as strategic building services consultants for Campus 2007, a major two phase re-development of Canterbury College. The two-phased development programme involved new build and refurbishment, working to designs by Charter Architects to provide a state-of-the-art education facility.

  • Cundall was appointed to provide the building services design and ICT & AV coordination for Loxley House, an award-winning 23,000m² office and call centre complex.

Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London

  • The relocation of diverse elements of Central St Martins College of Art and Design (CSM) into a new central campus on the 61 acre Kings Cross goods yard redevelopment was a major undertaking for the college and university. The new home of CSM incorporates: historic railway buildings (including the Grade II listed Granary building that was modified to respond to CSM’s needs), a flexible new build studio and theatre space. This is all based around a 110m long internal ‘street’ at the heart of the 39,000m² scheme.

Cobalt Data Centre 1

Newcastle, United Kingdom

  • Cundall was commissioned to design a new data centre in Cobalt Business Park. The data centre was constructed on a speculative basis, with the shell completed in August 2010. The building accommodates four tailored data halls, each with a power density of 1400W/m2.

Cobalt Data Centres 2 & 3

Newcastle, United Kingdom

  • Cobalt DC2 and DC3 are the first data centres in the UK to achieve a BREEAM 'Outstanding' rating and are developed in line with the end building uses. The buildings complement the first data centre that was completed in August 2010. The Cobalt Data Centre Campus offers over 10,000m2 of data hall space, making it one of the largest carrier neutral wholesale co-location campuses in the North.

Dubawi Island

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • An exclusive 55,000m2 boutique hotel and villa development located on a disconnected island off the Dubai coastline. It is directly adjacent to The Palm Jumeirah. Zabeel Properties's objective was to develop a sustainable resort that offered luxury and privacy for its guests. The scheme was developed to a level of sustainability equivalent to USGBC LEED GOLD standard.

Great Portland Estates HQ - 33 Cavendish Square

London, United Kingdom

  • Cundall successfully completed work on the fit-out of Great Portland Estates' (GPE) new London HQ at 33 Cavendish Square in London’s West End.  As one of the leading UK property developers, GPE wished to achieve a high standard of fit-out and finish. Cundall was appointed along with architects ORMS for the design of the fit-out works for the 17th floor of this prestigious building.
