  • The proposed mixed-use development comprises the construction of three new buildings. A 10-storey office building and two residential buildings of 15 and 19-storeys. The base of the residential buildings will contain flexible retail uses, as well as rehearsal space for neighbouring cultural groups and bodies, education spaces and offices. Access into the basement for cars is also provided in the form of two car lifts.

  • Cundall provided expert client side ESD advice to the Barangaroo Development Authority and the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority during the design competition for one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting urban renewal projects, Barangaroo.

Chengdu Creative Centre

  • The Chengdu Creative Centre is a 400MU (approx. 270,000m²) mixed used retail, residential, commercial and lifestyle hub located south of Chengdu outside the third ring. The masterplan features a range of sustainable planning strategies including an energy centre, district systems and lake heat rejection.

Shanghai, China

  • Cundall was appointed by Swire Properties to supply the sustainability design for this 300,000m² mixed use development, consisting of a retail mall, two office towers and three hotels. A high performance façade design was proposed, with an integrated central plant utilising waste heat recovery. A site-wide water collection and recycling strategy is also being developed to significantly exceed LEED requirements.

    The development is targeting a LEED 'Gold' rating.

  • Land Securities is transforming the part derelict site at Ealing, into a leisure and cultural destination. The old Ealing Cinema site will become one of the redevelopment opportunities within Ealing Metropolitan Town Centre.
