Clonshaugh Data Centre

Dublin, Ireland

  • Cundall was appointed to initially take over the shell and core design; this followed with a further appointment to fully design the fitout of the 55,000sqft Tier III+ facility.

Cobalt Data Centre 1

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

  • Cundall was commissioned to design a new data centre in Cobalt Business Park. The data centre was constructed on a speculative basis, with the shell completed in August 2010. The building accommodates four tailored data halls, each with a power density of 1400W/m2.

Cobalt Data Centres 2 & 3

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

  • Cobalt DC2 and DC3 are the first data centres in the UK to achieve a BREEAM 'Outstanding' rating and are developed in line with the end building uses. The buildings complement the first data centre that was completed in August 2010. The Cobalt Data Centre Campus offers over 10,000m2 of data hall space, making it one of the largest carrier neutral wholesale co-location campuses in the North.

Digital Profile Park Dublin

Dublin, Ireland

  • The 10 acres greenfield site, situated in Digital Profile Park Dublin, is capable of supporting the phased development of approximately 11.5MW of data centre space across four separate buildings on a dedicated campus, totalling approximately 193,000sqft of space.

Facebook Luleå

Luleå, Sweden

  • Cundall was awarded the engineering and design contract for the second phase of Facebook’s new European energy efficient data centre campus in Luleå, Sweden, close to the Arctic Circle. The data centre, Facebook’s first outside of the United States, includes the fit-out of two mega data halls (Halls C and D in building 1). Facebook looked at several sites across Europe, and picked Luleå for the availability of cheaper 'green' electricity and its cold climate, which supports abundant 'free cooling'. The move will see Facebook become faster for users across Europe.

Happy Valley Data Centre

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

  • The Hong Kong Jockey Club is ranked the second largest IT user in Asia, on a typical racing day it processes over seven million transactions. To meet this huge demand and provide customers with the most convenient and efficient betting services, the club has been at the forefront in developing and implementing new betting technologies.

Hayes Data Centre

London, United Kingdom

  • This is a new 4,000m2 data facility to form a high-resilience and high-capacity centre for the client's global ICT & AV infrastructure. Cundall was brought in at the outset to assist the bank in developing the brief, and then in selecting the site.

Jurong Data Centre

Jurong, Singapore

  • Our services have been ongoing since 2010, we have carried out technical due diligence, provided strategic advice on-site during infrastructure enhancement and data hall fit-outs, and electrical discrimination study to provide reassurance to the client’s customers. The current engagement is the design of a cooling and electrical back-up power solution to suit projected load growth. This included a sophisticated fluidflow+CFD analysis of potential failure scenarios to deliver value engineering whilst maximising operational resilience.

Paris Data Centre

Paris, France

  • The project included the fit out of two data halls within an existing facility in St Denis on the outskirts of Paris. The total white space is approximately 22,000ft² over two halls with 1440kW/hall. The design follows Digital Realty Trust’s modular POD design based on N+1 topology. The facility is designed around LV generation, static UPS and standard chillers and CHW CRAC units.

Redhill Data Centre Unit 3

Surrey, United Kingdom

  • The fit out of this data centre was essentially based on the digital modular POD design (design engineering guides). The hall sizes vary to delivery between 720kW to 2160kW. Facility is designed around LV generation, static UPS and standard chillers (although later halls upgraded to free-cooling chillers) and CHW CRAC units.
