50m Swimming Pool, University of Stirling

  • This development is a new high-performance 50m swimming pool for the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS), for use by both elite athletes and students. The centre has facilities for both Sports Science and Sports Medicine. All of the facilities are suitable for use by disabled swimmers and athletes.

Abbey Stadium Leisure Centre

  • The complex was extended more than doubled in size, and it was transformed through refurbishment into a state of the art fitness centre, attracting a substantial increase in visitors. A pool and changing village were added to the existing building, which dated back to the 1950’s.

  • The Arc Leisure Matlock (formerly known as Central Area Leisure Centre, CALC) scheme provides an innovative and exciting new regional sport and leisure facility for local people and visitors to the Peak District. The centre was officially opened in 2011 by Lord Sebastian Coe.

  • Cundall provided expert client side ESD advice to the Barangaroo Development Authority and the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority during the design competition for one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting urban renewal projects, Barangaroo.

Betteshanger Visitor Centre

  • The new Betteshanger Visitor Centre will be one of the UK’s most sustainable buildings. It is designed to enhance the health and wellbeing of visitors and occupants. The building has been designed to comply with the WELL Building Standard® and is expected to be the first new building in Europe to achieve certification under the scheme.

Blaydon Primary Care Centre and Leisure Centre

  • The centre began as two separate projects, a leisure centre and a primary care centre (PCC) that involved two clients, two architects with Cundall being the common denominator providing multidisciplinary services for both. Through collaboration with all parties involved these two buildings combine to deliver excellent healthcare and leisure facilities to the local community.

BMI Heathrow One

  • The design intent for the BMI lounge was to create a home from home. The area was divided to provide a welcome hall, lounge, kitchen, dining area, study, restaurant and a bar.
