Ealing BSF

  • Cundall was appointed to provide full engineering design services for two sample schools at Dormers Wells and Cardinal Wiseman in the London Borough of Ealing as part of the original £350 million BSF programme.

Earth and Environment, University of Leeds

Leeds, United Kingdom

  • The Earth and Environment School was designed to meet the departments' need for world class teaching and research. The project involved the complete refurbishment of the existing building and the addition of a 4-storey wing, which was designed to minimise carbon and waste. The overall project for refurbishment and new-build achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.

Eden Court Theatre and Cinema

Inverness, United Kingdom

  • Eden Court is the largest arts centre in Scotland. Its redevelopment increased main auditorium capacity and established a smaller theatre and two new cinemas. Other aspects of the redevelopment included landscaping works and upgrading of the historic Bishop's Palace.

Eldon Square Redevelopment

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

  • Cundall was appointed on a multi-disciplinary basis for the redevelopment of Eldon Square shopping centre. This redevelopment ensures this vision is upheld by creating a vibrant retail focal point for the 25 million shoppers it attracts.

Euneva Avenue Community Health Facility

Glen Waverley, Victoria, Australia

  • This unusual project provides a community health centre for the local residents and car park provisions for the Glen Waverley central business district.  The ground floor community healthcare centre has been designed with flexibility and comfort in mind.  It has an emphasis on individual control with openable windows, simple but effective servicing and user controlled, ‘manual on, auto-off’ servicing.  

Excelsior Academy

Newcastle, United Kingdom

  • Excelsior Academy is a new-build institution, located in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne. This project represents one of the largest academy projects undertaken in the UK to date. It is designed to accommodate four existing schools for 11-16-year-olds within one academy, each with a separate entrance.
