Tripoli office going strong after reopening Share this article

Since its reopening after civil unrest, Cundall’s office in Libya has been going through some exciting changes with a project win at Libyan European Hospital and a key appointment, Terry Hollingsworth.

Libyan European Hospital is a private venture 150 bed hospital aiming to provide the Benghazi region with a high standard of private healthcare. Cundall will be providing engineering and site supervision services together with commissioning management of the entire MEP installation. The Cundall team will draw on their international healthcare experience to ensure the hospital shall function as intended once handed over to the client.

When asked about the project Robert Hudspith said “We are looking forward to working with Private Investment Initiative on the Libya European Hospital, this will be an exciting project that will reinforce our presence and also provide the Libyan people with a new facility providing a high standard of healthcare.”

Robert Hudspith, Director at the Libya office, will be the Project Engineering Director for the project and Terry Hollingsworth who recently joined Cundall will be the Engineering & Commissioning Manager. His role will be to manage, direct and assist the Cundall site based engineering team, prepare the monthly reports and ensure the day to day diaries are kept up to date. He will also be responsible for monitoring progress in relation to connections to the external engineering infrastructure (electrical, water supply and drainage) and will be the prime point of contact for the onsite project manager.

After almost 20 years, Robert, looks forward to working once again with Terry after their successful co-operation at Barclays Bank main computer centre.
