I joined Cundall in July 2006 after completing an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool and CEng with the Institution of Fire Engineers. I chose Cundall because they were setting up a new fire engineering department and it was a chance to be involved in something new from the start.
I joined as a Senior Fire Engineer and was promoted to Principal Engineer in July 2008. I’m responsible for managing all the projects I’m involved in; from agreeing scope of works and fees, to gaining the necessary approvals from the authorities for our design/fire strategy. I’ve been involved in all types of projects and sectors from small houses to large shopping centres.
I have been able to gain the relevant experience and training to successfully be accepted as a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Fire Engineers. Being part of a multi-disciplinary consultancy means there is always someone who can help you out with a specific problem.
