Tomás leads Cundall's lifestyle sector and also sits on Cundall's management board.

Tomás is a mechanical engineering partner working from the Newcastle and Edinburgh offices. His key areas of expertise lie in sustainable design, design standardisation and prefabrication; he is also responsible for Cundall's lifestyle sector.

Tomás specialises in managing complex projects with budgets in excess of £100 million, from briefing and feasibility right through to development and completion. He is particularly skilled at managing large multi-disciplinary teams.

Before joining Cundall in 1993, Tomás was with Tarmac Major Projects, working on projects ranging from the Channel Tunnel to submarine facilities. He began his career with Skidmore Owings and Merrill - the architects for Canary Wharf - where he worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team gaining experience in all aspects of coordinated building design.

Tomás is a visiting tutor of technology on the architecture degree course at Newcastle University.

When not working, Tomás likes to spend time outdoors, enjoying walking, cycling and camping.
