Geoff joined Cundall in January 2007 and is responsible for the practice's Industrial sector. He leads the civil engineering team in the Manchester office, with overall responsibility for technical, commercial and team management issues. He benefits from thirty years' experience of civil and structural design and project management both in the UK and abroad.
Geoff has a wide range of civil and structural experience in commercial, public and educational buildings, infrastructure, energy, waste, industrial processes and municipal engineering, which provides a solid basis for the accurate evaluation of potential project risks and hazards. He is especially interested in sustainable design in civil and structural engineering, including the utilisation of contaminated land, the control and use of storm water and the reuse of recycled materials in construction.
Over the past two years he has taken a key role in establishing the Tripoli office. This has involved extensive travel throughout Libya and successful bids for hotel, infrastructure, leisure and industrial projects.
In his spare time, Geoff enjoys outdoor pursuits including walking and gardening.
